Do I smell peanuts????

Well, first of all, the endodontist was a bit anti-climatic from the standpoint that he didn't actually do anything yesterday. BUT, I have an appointment with Horrifying Equipment on Monday the 19th to have the root canal redrilled and cleaned out. It sends shivers up and down my spine even thinking about it. I keep telling myself that I survived freaking brain surgery so why am I petrified to have anything done to my teeth? My conclusion? Fear is irrational and cannot be explained or justified. Period. It's my irrational, stupid fear and I'm sticking with it.

Meanwhile, Extreme Seymour stopped in this morning for some spicy seeds - that little scallywag. After he polished off the treats, he started looking around and got a whiff of the peanut feeder. Yep, in a jiffy he was hanging upside down, then trying to shake the nuts out, then trying to squeeze them out before finally giving me a huffy look and scampering off. I've decided that he deserves his own Photo Set on Flickr, so have a peak if you're of a mind to here.

We had a howling rain and wind storm last night and the temps dropped like a rock. This morning everything was icy, but the sun was shining. Making it a good day!

Thank you for all the nice comments on His Royal Redness yesterday. In typical Cardinal fashion, he was shy today and didn't want to show himself. I think he fears being over exposed to his adoring public. You know how it goes with fame...
