Vestiges of Autumn

Brrr, it's getting wintery, but still there are some bright colourful bits and pieces in the garden.

A pair of choughs were around the house again today doing their usual acrobatic airbourne display. I love their chatter and playfulness. I'll look out for them again tomorrow. The only shot I was able to take of them showed dim black shapes in the sky. I'm not skilled enough to do them justice.
