Wild

The shot from Pittenweem was, it turns out, on quite calm day.... Rarely seen the river so wild, the spray off the waves was amazing, like steam.

I had enough time to extract camera, run almost into the best position, fire off one shot, and run for it before the rain really hit - got a couple of splats as you can see. Wierd thing was that the wind was so strong I walked 50 yards, crossed the road, and was out of the rain - the tenement buildings blocked the horizontal rain!

It truly was mental out there....

Incidentally - went out for the department Christmas meal this evening. Food was shocking. But I discovered a new formula: 1 beer + 1 glass of wine + 2 cold/flu tablets = 2 unsteady legs.... Quite funny really! Forgot I'd taken the tablets!
