A sign of old age???

I was wandering a bit aimlessly around John Lewis this afternoon when I got a phone call from Barry asking me if I fancied meeting him in the pub with his friends - I did fancy it as his friends are very nice & as I am usually working on Saturday morning I never get to go out on a Friday night! A thought occurred to me though that I had not had any tea - at what point did that become an issue when thinking about drinking??? At 36 I refuse to have even a sip of alcohol without having something to eat does that make me old?? Gone are the days when I would happily go out & possibly eat just a slice of pizza at the end of the evening! Anyway the beans on toast were nice & I am now off to the pub - happy Friday everyone x
