St.Andrew's Cathedral, Glasgow
Hi folks...finally back on track after a very busy few/10 days!! Have missed you all, but just did not have the time to blip....sigh!!
Mum is improving every day and managing to shuffle about now with a zimmer....and very pleased too!! They reckon it'll be a good 6-8 weeks recovery, but at least there's progress each day!! She was also moved to a hospital that is far easier to get to for my brother and I, saving me a 5 hour round trip, which was a nightmare. So all is well on that front!!
Dad's excited that he's surviving so well!! He's never had to cook, wash, etc before...so it's good for him!!!!!!! Better late than never!!! ;-))) He doing pretty well too.....
My course work was submitted yesterday, and can I thank you all for your input and encouragement!! After finishing my nursing degree last year, I'd vowed no more study for a LONG time!! It's been funny going back on that...even for an altogether different sort of course!! I needed a bit of feedback and encouragement....and found it all very helpful!! And a million times more enjoyable!!!! Ahem....maybe I shouldn't say that!!!! Lol!!!
Took this this morning after work...knew the Cathedral would be nice and quiet so early, so I could use a tripod and not make a noise and fuss!! Used my little Panasonic too, as it was just too dangerous to risk going anywhere with the other camera yesterday in our very own 'Hurracane'... I didn't want to wrestle it to work in those conditions!!
Am back off to work tonight after I phone my Mum for an update!! Thank goodness for mobile phones!!! :-))))
Take care....and thanks also for the Spotlight the other day!!
I took a few shots while in Edinburgh on Monday and backblipped one on the previous page to this!!! Had a great day there and got a few slow shutter shots at the Fair!!!! :-)))
