I'd been asked to take some pictures of the 2nd Scottish Drosophila Research Conference, being held at the Universary today. Nothing formal, just a candid record of the event.

I'd tried to get something interesting during the keynote lecture by a professor and head of the department I work in but hadn't managed anything even remotely interesting when this fell in my lap. The girl who had organised the conference was being presented with some flowers, and walked right into shot.
