Moonbeam

I couldn't resist giving another moony tonight. There were whispy clouds passing over which made it look fantastic and at one point, when I took this, I was reminded of a torch beam.

My zoom lens doesn't zoom in all that much and so I have to do some serious cropping to make the moon look more than a star in the sky. This was particularly the case with Thursday's moony.

I'm also lucky enough to have been loaned a tripod for a while.
