This is Gail. She doesn't like having her photo taken.

A good day, if slightly hungover after our work night out. Had takeaway noodles for lunch with the friend (and colleague) mentioned here, the first time he'd been in the office in a month. He'll not be back at work for another few weeks but he's making steady progress.

After work, went with the aforementioned Gail to see our friend Jill, who was taking part in an evening of readings by participants in the University's Office of Lifelong Learning writing courses. Very proud of her. Free wine and only a handful of crisps for tea meant Gail and I got somewhat hysterical on the bus on the way home, as you can see... :-)
