Grasshead with seeds

Saturday is market day and I had a wonderful time meandering around looking for Christmas gift ideas and actually buying a couple. Also had brunch of bacon buttie, coffee and a crepe - lemon and brown sugar. Yum.

It was very pleasant not having to hurry and even managed to get the car parked in the shade so I didn't have to worry about the dog getting cooked in the hot sun.

A stiff breeze today so lugged all the bed linen from Mothers bed out onto the line for a good airing when I got home and then cleaned the fridge before getting horizontal for a nana-nap.

Picked these grass seed heads yesterday when doing a bit of weeding and today they became the subject of some studying by camera. Quite like this image; have played with it further and given it a drybrush painterly effect in another copy.
