Dawn just before the snow arrived

I wanted a special photograph for today and was blessed with a fabulous dawn.

Fortunately we had parked the van on the yellow line which meant I had to get up and move it before 8-00 am. I was greeted by this wonderful red sky. I regret the van didn't get moved until 8-30 am, however since it was frozen up anyway and I left the engine running, I didn't think anyone would object too strongly.

It is snowing lightly now. I don't think it will come to much for us; it may be worse in central Scotland.
