Bargain hunter

Woke up this morning, got myself a box-set.

Virgin Megastores* advertised these bad boys at 70 quid bellow their r.r.p yesterday as part of their sale, meaning it they worked out at 50 a pop - a bargain in my book.

I tried to get onto their website last night, only to be greeted with screens proclaiming their server was being hammered by every other like minded person in the country.

A 6.30am rise, 7.30am bus and an 8.05 arrival meant I was greeted by a queue early morning workers clutching said DVD's in their grubby little paws. After a brief haggle in which I explained I was buying 2 for my Dad and I, not to punt them off on eBay, I jumped on the bus with them in hand, feeling like a very savvy consumer.

Mr Joe is running his seminar today, I wonder what delights await us.



*I outright refuse to call it Zavvi, alone with Starburst, Snickers and any other brand which decided a rename might boost sales.
