Anticipation isn't always the best...

Only one winner for choice of photo today. Spain vs Italy quarter finals in Euro 2008. The streets in Madrid are jammed with people draped in flags, football shirts, yellow and red paint. Cars have flags hanging out the windows and the amount of car horns is unreal. Lots of photos of people celebrating today, was a toss up between this one and one other.

As much as the Madrilenos enjoyed the build up, I reckon they will have enjoyed the match more, certainly the result. La Furia Roja to win...
