Goodbye

Today was my last day working in my Bristol office. I felt sad because I've loved working there over the last two years. It was hard to say goodbye to my colleagues because I like them so much and I'll miss seeing them every day. I didn't want to get emotional but I couldn't help crying as I walked out of the door.
Going to the pub for a farewell drink made me realise what a toll this office move has taken on colleagues too - one had a doctor's appointment for chest pains, another had rashes because of the stress, someone else had terrible headaches. I've had insomnia. It just reminded me that while change can be good it can also be very challenging indeed.
