Frosted Brassicas

Woke to another hard frost and the garden was white again. I headed for the cabbage patch and marvelled at the wonderful ice crystal formations. The sprouts should be very sweet as they are supposed to improve with a frosting - good news for the Christmas meal!
The temperature remained sub-zero till mid-morning when it climbed eventually to a balmy 4 degrees C. Mr M donned 'the outfit' and was to be seen as the man in the red suit in the Oxfam shop again. The season is here and there's no stopping now. The tree goes up tomorrow!
