It is our 23rd wedding anniversary today. Yes, we were extremely young when we tied the knot.

I woke up remarkably hangover free to find one child but no wife in bed, she had gone to the couch to escape the sound of a snoring husband and child. So, not the best start to the day but then Mrs Smith went back to bed and read and wrote for the rest of the day whilst I brought a selection of snacks and chocolate based goods at regular intervals.

I managed to pop out with the whippet for a short while to gaze upon the frozen landscape, it was a day for gloves and ridiculous headwear. The whippet sported her fetching red jacket. Grabbed a quick blip and then got home to discover that Photo Plus magazine has featured one of my macro blips. It's in a section on the theme of "crap photos by readers that we can tart up and make half presentable" but still nice to see it.

Steak pie and cheesy mash has just been put on the table so best be off.
