Meet The Log Master..and tremble!

As there was a bit of a breeze blowing today, BB and myself decided it was time to go back into the woods for some more logs. Breeze equals less midges - don't you know. So after collecting a van load of really dry stuff it was back for the cutting.

Which gave us the chance to use The Log Master

Now I love my chainsaw, but it can get a bit scary, especially when you lose concentration. Cutting you arm off is easier to do than not cutting your arm off, so we got one of these nifty devices.

Basically it locks the chainsaw to a swivelling jig which lets you move it up down. Simple but very effective.

You can cut twice as many logs, all the same size, in half the time and it's a whole lot safer.
