Redheads

Way into the early hours of Saturday morning, the xmas party was still going. Luckily, I was in no fit state to take a photo of myself!

So here are two of my favourite redheads! Obviously my B, sat with Hannah (in one of those cool sixties Circular seats in bright yellow!). Hannah is one of Georgie's (featured yesterday) older sisters, one of the surrogate 4. She has recently had a very painful operation on her foot and B has been administering a lot of TLC, professionally and as a responsible surrogate parent, whilst she recuperates. As a baby and toddler, she spent many nights with us always finding her way into our bed to play starfish games (quite often started out in our bed come to think of it...much like her sisters!).

All four of them and extended family & friends call my B 'Bump-Bump'. It was originally mumbled when the eldest had trouble saying her name as a baby and it came out as Bump-Bump. It's stuck.....for 26 years, even with some adults. People hearing it for the first time are often taken aback. We are all used to it.

Hannah won't mind me saying that she is, in fact my third favourite redhead, as second place belongs to my niece who of course is actually blood. Both however have been mistaken for B's daughters at different times over the years.

I for one would have been delighted for it to have been the case, being a little partial to redheads!
