Auckland

A crazy day sorting out our heap of a car in the morning and driving into Auckland with the petrol light flashing ready to return it empty. We were glad to leave it behind us!

Walking around the main shopping area we came across 'Random Acts' a collision of street & theater. This was one of the most popular performances by 3 guys looking like business men who suddenly fell into a street dance performance. Other performances included women on plinths dressed in the traditional dress of different island nations, standing next to CD players inviting passers by to press 'play' and see them dance. There were soundscape exhibits and a really good band playing.

We spent the evening drinking in a Belgium bar with a friend of Andy's and his girlfriend. It was really nice to see friendly faces and have a good chat.
