The end ...

... of an absolutely top night!

Backblipped 11th December

Starting with our guests walking up up the drive.

To be greeted with a wee bit of fizz and canapes of oatcakes and chicken liver pate, blinis with smoked salmon and creme fraiche and crostini with mozzarella, lemon zest, red chilli and basil.

Followed by scallops, Bury black pudding and pea puree topped with pea shoots.

Then The Black Farmer's Oriental Beef Wellington with new potatoes, purple sprouting brocilli and peas - and for the veggie a beetroot and feta tart tatin.

Then pavlova and coffee and walnut birthday cake from Sophie.

Then last of all cheese and biscuits.

And all washed down with some red and white wine and port!

Mandy wasn't really up for the bit of loving that Stephen was trying to give her here, however as the rest of her family have been blipped already (Isobel and Sizzles) I thought it was about time!
