Katie, the European Eagle Owl

Had a quick visit to the Gyle Shopping Centre this afternoon where we met Katie and her friendly handler, who are advertising the Falconry Centre on the way up to Gleneagles. Katie is 11 years old and may live to 100 years, apparently (I was suitably impressed)

Katie was absolutely adorable and I wanted to cuddle her but she may have taken my eyes out. I'll cuddle the 2 furry felines instead!
