Snow Fun!

After Fridays back blipped Reasoning gig, and yesterdays back blipped visit to Slimbridge, it was to come back to reality with a bump!

We had planned on going Christmas shopping today in Cardiff. This turned out to be a massive mistake! We got caught in a traffic jam going into Cardiff, and it set the tone of the morning. We ended up sat in a queue of traffic, about a mile from the largest car park in town, and the only one left with spaces free, watching the road sign by the side of the road count down to FULL. I can assure you there is nothing more soul destroying!

Two hours after we left the house, we were home again, having failed to get anywhere near any car parks, let alone shops! To put it in context, we live less than half an hour from front door to parking normally!

Someone on the news keeps on saying there is a recession on! It hasn't seem to have deterred the ever increasingly mad consumer free for all that is Christmas.

It's been a quiet day instead ... I am going to try again on Tuesday morning with my mum! I haven't a heck of a lot left to buy to be honest, mainly Dawn's pressies!
