Lying in wait

The "Roy Barker II" a Trent class RNLI lifeboat stationed at Wick lies in wait at its pontoon for its next callout.

Yesterday morning I watched her launch to the aid of a local crab boat which had fouled its propeller just off the entrance to Wick harbour. Prompt and effective they were.

Tomorrow marks my last day at work in Wick before pastures new.
