Clouds II

Watching the tour riders and support vehicles roll through this in town was one of the most painful things that I can remember. Committing to a job where I am restricted from the activity that keeps me sane was worse than I thought. In addition, spending the afternoon being disrespected by my students and by the staff of other programs at the university (thanks daycare lady) preceded the procession of fit people and beautiful bicycles. I tried to give the Slipstream team directions, and the "I know" that followed "we're team Slipstream" seemed to blow their minds. No time off this weekend either- only more sixteen hour days chasing the kids. No riding for me in the near future.
