The Learned Leopard

Aberdeen's iconic leopard sculpture opposite His Majesty's Theatre has been given a refit recently, including the replacement of its old seasonal illuminations with brilliant new LED lights.

The renovation work seems also to have given the leopard an urge to broaden its intellectual horizons - though being Sunday evening, it is doomed to find the City's Central Public Library closed when it eventually manages to cross busy Rosemount Viaduct...
