Alive and well
Euphrobia lathryis (gopher spurge) is one tough plant, still upright and more important still evergreen after at least -1 degree F (-18 C).
I lamented the fact that I didn't take a photo of their structure and beautiful foilage prior to the 3 snow storms over the last week or so as all week long in the subfreezing temperatures they were limp and black. Today and yesterday warmed to 50 degrees F (10 C) and they have recovered.
true evergreens like this are welcome in cold steppe climates where much turns brown in the winter.
