Daddy - kids day

The wife, bless her, had a slight hangover this morning;) so, being the devoted husband that I am, I gave her a child free day, McDonald's breakfast and a lot of tlc.

Secretly I was quite excited about my visit to the local soft play venue as I thought the kids would spend a few hours climbing about so, laptop in hand, I settled with a coffee to get stuck into some online Christmas shopping.

How wrong I could be. The following 3 hours were spent chasing Elliot up and down slides, answering the girls demands for snacks and panicking about the laptop being stolen whilst I did all this!

Secretly, I actually enjoyed it. Christmas shopping can wait!
