Fun with Magnets

Playing with magnets this evening, other brands are available. If you had magnetovision, you would see the complex pattern of magnetic fields interacting here to hold this structure together letting me give it a good old spin.

The word magnet is Greek for "stone from Magnesia", a region of Greece where lodestones were found. Magnetism has played a big part in our history from compasses for navigation and endless handy things since. But they also have a niche in the toy market.

This will be my loosely connected entry this week for the WBC theme of FIELD.
