A different perspective

On Wednesday I did a blip looking at a ferris wheel (glasgow's) today I'm on the one in Edinburgh! It looked great fun. I got on and was only a quarter of the way round before panic set in. I don't like heights, can't cope with them on any level! So why did I do it? No clue is the answer, will I be doing it again?.... Master D who was totally oblivious to my terror kept telling me I wouldn't forget this birthday! But I did eventually pluck up the courage and turn around to get this foto with the castle on the background.

Yes it's the birthday. The treat was Edinburgh on the train, along with the wheel (!) then a walk round the Christmas Market, topped of with dinner. After dinner we heard some music coming from a church on George Street, it was a choir singing in the entrance hall, it was one of those moments that grabs you when you least expect it, it was so lovely to listen to.
