Premature signs of spring

Quick walk at lunchtime in the cold. Saw these bulb leaves peeping through the fallen oak leaves. Hope they haven't popped up too early.....

Had to give my apologies for the cocktail party tonight, feeling too wiped out by a cold to be sociable (and probably wouldn't be welcome in my germy state!).
