We went to Edinburgh today to do some semi-traditional Christmas-y type things: go to the Christmas market, see the tree in Jenners. We also managed to squeeze in a visit to my sister (just moved back to Edinburgh) and see one set of grandparents. Phew.

The Christmas market was absolutely packed and not really the place to be trying to push a pushchair. In fact, all of Princes Street was packed including pretty much every single shop and restaurant we looked at or (shudder) ventured into.

We did, however, manage to go on the ferris wheel in Princes Street gardens which highlighted just how different +1/3 and +2/3 are: one absolutely loved being up high and looking out over the city and edge of the gondola, the other really hated it (despite insisting that they loved going up high and really wanted a shot).

I maybe should have blipped the picture of the two of them...
