Fire Alarm!

The folks from San Jose Station #1 showed up to my building on Saturday in response to a fire alarm. I went in just for a few minutes on the weekend and the alarm system sensed smoke on the 4th floor. I helped clear the building and do a visual before the hook and ladder truck was able to setup and inspect the roof and the 4th floor. Working with the crew was great. They quickly found a coffee burner in an office on the 4th floor that had been left on and was smoking the bottom of a old pot of coffee. Probably no danger of a fire, but the alarm worked and the crew was happy to make a training mission out of the call.

That's what I get for going into work on Saturday!
