Hathaway Avenue

Every December my friend Jane and I (and her relucant husband James) visit Hathaway Avenue in lower Hutt. There is a house in the avenue which gets decked out in a ton and a half of lights and decorations, all in order to raise funds for the local water polo team.

Here is a shot of the house itself, although I could have easily put up pictures of display cabinets full of mechanised Christmas scenes, multicoloured Christmas trees, illuminated reindeers and red / green laser lights.

Oh, and the nativity! Reason for the season and all that.
