Some Enchanted Evening

An enchanted afternoon/evening indeed, spent at a small gathering of friends who had come together to say goodbye to a new friend.

The setting was perfect. Our new friend has been staying in a lovely house in the upper part of the village which has fantastic views of the lower village and Pedi. We had a clear, slightly chilly evening and we spent our time chatting, drinking wine or retsina and enjoying a magnificent feast. In fact, I ate so much that I'm not sure I'll need to eat again for several days.

Sharon seems to have enjoyed her (too) few weeks in Symi, so I'm sure she will return, hopefully soon.
