Surely there's one??

Dileas checks the perimeter of a huge tree brought down in the storm. Surely not all the squirrels jumped to safety. Surely there must be some squashed and lifeless underneath. Better still surely there must be one trapped but clinging onto life Dileas would be only too happy to put it out of its misery! Poor dog hope springs eternal!
