Beanie Button

Izzy's nickname has always been Beanie. This has been expanded to numerous silly/affectionate variations, one of which is Beanie Button, or just Button a lot of the time. I often get disapproving glances from old ladies in the post office when I address Izzy with "Will you please put that envelope down Button"; I can hear them now: "terrible names these mothers come up with these days...who would call their child 'Button'?"

Unsurprisingly, Izzy has a 'beanie button' instead of a belly button. She thought it was hilarious that I was going to attempt to photograph it today...

In other news, last seminars of this semester have been taught! I will miss the students. Bring on the 'Literature and Science' module in January...
