Snowman

Katie is a little bit obsessed with snowmen at the moment, she's got quite a thing about them. Especially this awful inflatable one which she is rather keen on.
She slept really well (for Katie standards) last night. She woke at 9.30 and coughed herself sick briefly, but then slept until 4am, allbeit in my bed. She then slept again until 5.30, so quite a result for us. Better yet, when we came downstairs, I was instructed to lie down on the sofa, and she came and snuggled for a while. We were so relaxed I almost forgot it was a "get out the house on time" day.
She has had a brilliant day at nursery. I arrived and she was full of it. The staff said she'd been so cheeky again today - but they are beginning to realise this is Katie as Katie now, which is lovely. She had insisted on taking Ellie-the-dolls-sleepsuit to nursery and apparently spent a lot of the day playing with it (her?) and Monkey. They said that by the afternoon, the other children had realised that "Ellie" was Katie's.
I have discovered a smackerel of knowledge that nursery have imparted on Katie (apart from saying "yeah" instead of "yes please" and grunting instead of words) - someone has taught her that frogs say ribbit ribbit. This is wisdom I have previously shared only to be told that no frogs go jump jump jump. Which is what they do in Dear Zoo, a book Katie loved from being very small. But now she says that frogs say ribbitribbit.
