Dragonfly
During a heavy downpour late afternoon, I noticed this Dragonfly seeking shelter from the heavy rain in the White Stinkwood outside our lounge window.
As soon as the rain stopped, I went outside to photograph this rain-drenched specimen.
It is of the family Libellulidae, a Pantala (Pantala flavescens), also referred to as Global Skimmer & Wandering Glider.
This Dragonfly is considered to be the most widespread on the planet.
