Oh you beautiful child

This photo was taken while I was in Malawi working in an orphanage last month with my partner (who was teaching at the medical school). The chief threw a party in our honour and all 100 of the children came. It was a fabulous party. This little girl was a bit poorly and had to be carried on the back of one of the teachers. She was so, so beautiful. I have plenty of her awake and laughing, but this one seemed so serene!
