Looking back
A reminder today of a lesson I was taught well but often forget - always look behind you.
Today I followed the lesson both literally and figuratively. I went back to the place where I took a series of sunsets in the spring.
Having grabbed some shots I was sure would work, including this one, I was walking back to the car when I turned for one last look, just as this mother and daughter began to play on the shoreline. From my perspective, with my nifty fifty, they fitted perfectly against the stretch of water and I shot a burst of 5, hoping the camera was still set to the exposure values I'd used for the sunset shots. Bingo!
