Docking our boat in Cocoye

This is the little boat that we took from Petit Goave to get to Cocoye - a remote beach on the north side of Haiti's peninsula. We were there for a good friend's last weekend in Haiti after nearly two years. The water was crystal clear and the beach was gorgeous. Not a bad way to spend a December weekend - I can get used to the Caribbean winter!
