Like that but a bit more proper

The only pictures I took today were of the fireplace. Not, as you might think, because I am so proud of Carl's makeshift solution to our overlarge opening problem. But instead to send to an ironmonger to see if he could sort us out with something ever so slightly more stylish. Fingers crossed.

Unfortunately the rest of the day involved no photographs which means that my feeling of I'm sure I've been busy but I honestly couldn't tell you what I've actually achieved will remain just that.

Oh well, the most important thing definitely did get done - the kids singing happy birthday to my dad who is 70 today. He won't be reading this but happy birthday pops anyway!
