There's a first time for everything...

...but don't panic, I was there in my lawyering capacity, not in the dock. Though it may be just as bad I was there in a Defence Lawyer capacity. My client was a fraudster, and I managed to dodge a custodial sentence; she just had to repay the money. Not bad, but then it was totally fictitious with a lovely Sheriff Holligan presiding over the affair.

As much as this was a totally valid practical exam which got us all on our feet and doing a plea in mitigation LIVE - It was highly frustrating to have to do it and get home 12 hours before the ACTUAL written exam, which must be passed! The live practical exercise is not really worth anything, other than we had to do it and be competent...(definitions on a post card)

Well night world, time for the real hard core stuff 9-11 am! Oh and just to show how much they love us, the Diploma team have decided to schedule a class 2-4pm tomorrow....I despair at their logic, but thank the lord tomorrow is the last day of hell for a few weeks.

PS Kelly from the pic a yr ago today, is finally home from her OZ yr and I will get to spend time with her this week YAY
