Have spent the last few days working with a badly abused bear (one of the new rescues) - she's hyper aggressive, distrustful (and no wonder with what she's been through) - won't eat and I can't get meds for a nasty bladder infection into her unless we dart her.... (more abuse in her mind) - at least she still has spirit - I know she just needs more time..... but its hard to watch

so I spent my lunch break watching our sunbears wrestle, spoon, laugh and lie around in the crisp sun - it was their "clean sweet day"' - they've been through their hell and come out the other side..... life can be good
