Stormy seas

5m swells are still battering the Taranaki coast today but it's business as usual for the shipping in and out of Port Taranaki.

The photograph shows the 186m long container ship 'Cap Palliser' entering the deep-water port with tugboat 'Rupe' waiting patiently to play her part in manoeuvring the large ship into its berth. Big waves can be seen crashing dramatically over the Main Breakwater.
