An odd day

We have had sun, wind, hail, several times this day. The poor birds have been in and out of the garden intermittently for food and shelter.

I've had an odd day too!! I've been fighting a cold and sore throat for several days and thought this morning that I wasn't winning.

It might have due to the prospect of a day doing Christmas cards and letters. I have plodded on with a varying degree of enthusiasm!!
