The mighty Buzzcocks expressed it as well as anyone ever has in their classic 'Ever Fallen In Love (With Someone You Shouldn't've)?' which someone has seen fit to quote on this sticker which I've noticed in a few places around town.

By the way, the drugs are still working and I got 8 solid of hours of sleep last night which felt like some sort of miracle! I'll soon be back firing on all cylinders.
