Filey big man

Filey now has a 'giant man' sculpture by Ray Lonsdale, who made the hugely popular 'Freddie..' figure in Scarborough.
Filey's man has no name, the work is called A High Tide In Short Wellies, so the big fisherman really could do with a name.
The scale of Lonsdale's sculptures are just right for their settings, large enough to make a quiet impact, yet not dominating the scene.
The big man has a great view over Filey Bay and and expansive sands...
