Decorations are beginning to make an appearance.

The second storm within days has been throwing its weight about. We put the garden furniture back at the weekend after storm number one, a bit of mistake as it was all over the place when I got in.

In the midst of the storm, I was saying goodbye to a friend who died very suddenly last week. It was the first time I had attended a humanist funeral. The music was lovely and very appropriate, there was no singing, the tributes were very special. He had lived life to the full, and will be greatly missed.

Feeling quite sad this evening, not really in festive mood. Can't stop, as I am busy writing cards.
