Terrible photo but the moon was beautiful tonight!
It has been a good day really. Started off a bit stressy but singing club did great in the concert and so did the Cello performance including my daughter.
Then we came home and I took my daughter and her friend race walking. I took my camera as it is a half hour to forty five minute wait so I thought I would have a mess about with it.
On the way home we drove over this slight hill and there was the moon, straight in front and it was massive, absolutely massive and orange. We drove around a bit more trying to get a better sight line but its a hard thing to chase the moon. It hid behind the woods and the houses.
Therefore we went back to our original spot, got out of the car and gasped in wonder. The lens on my camera is just nowhere near good enough to even attempt a decent shot but I tried and it taught me that really I should try and take my camera everywhere because at least I tried.
Therefore this is my very shockingly bad blip. It will remind me though of a great moment in time when I dragged the children out of the car to gaze in wonder at such a beautiful sight to behold, despite it being cold, dark and nearly bedtime.
