A very proud night.

Tonight my daughter, husband and I attended our grandchildren's carol service. It was held in the City Hall, Newcastle.
The whole school had to attend, but only the 1st form and the 6th form performed. The 1st form are on the stage, and the rest of the school are in the balcony, and at the front of the hall. That is my excuse for such a poor picture. We were behind the children, a long way from the stage.
Our granddaughter was in the balcony, and this is our grandson, singing a solo. We were immensely proud, as he was the only person from the 1st year to sing a solo, and the only boy in the whole service to sing alone. One or two tears were shed as he sang.
Sorry for bragging, but we are so proud ,especially after the dreadful year they have had.
